Watch Walker Bob And Weave Thursday Night

In the last debate of the recall election, Scott Walker will dance away from any responsibility for the John Doe probe underway in Milwaukee.

I don't think what lies ahead for Walker can be resolved by a 30-second spot.

I listened to some of the debate on the radio, near the end when the jobs numbers were discussed.

What I really wanted Barrett to ask the listeners and viewers is the standard question about the economy: How does it feel to the people of Wisconsin? Something like... "How does Wisconsin's economy feel to you guys out there in the small communities all across Wisconsin? Does it feel like Wisconsin is on the upswing of economic moment? If there are 30,000 new jobs as Governor Walker claims, did your community see any of them? If they haven't been created in your community, where have they been created? Do you know anyone who has had the benefit of getting one of these jobs?"

I thought that would have been an excellent line of attack, a variation on the "Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago" line of reasoning.
