Delta Joins Frontier, And Walker, In Killing Service To Madison

Planes, trains and automobiles?

Some forms of transportation are more equal than others.

Delta Airlines is cancelling its direct flight from Washington, DC to Madison.

Delta has flights from Washington, DC to Milwaukee's Mitchell airport, where there is an Amtrak station, but Scott Walker killed the Milwaukee-Madison train connection, and that cut out another options for travelers to start or complete either leg of a Milwaukee-Madison trip.

Frontier Airlines also recently cancelled the only Milwaukee-Madison direct flight - - which again puts more people on the highway and that keeps the road-builders happy.

Which is one of Walker's highest political priorities, closing the political loop on this post.
