I hadn't noticed, but thank goodness Scott has humbly reminded us.
A forum, news site and archive begun in February, 2007 about politics and the environment in Wisconsin. And elsewhere.

Can't believe I'm saying this... but I'm happy that Walker's promoting capital projects.
Capital investments (i.e. infrastrucutre) are a major catalyst in economic development, and do indeed create jobs.
At the same time, Walker's being extremely disingenuous, talking out of both sides of his mouth.
He's promoting public spending while at the same time saying it needs to be cut.
In his campaign website he says reducing taxes and regulation are the fastest ways to creating jobs, but here emphasizes capital projects.
Lastly, he says he laid out rules for accepting stimulus funds, but then creates an office of econ dev that violates his own rules.
I'm beginning to realize that there's little substance to Walker.
