URGENT ACTION: DOT Public Hearing on Hoan Bridge
Monday, November 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) will be holding a public hearing to discuss the different construction plans and cost estimates that resulted from their feasibility study, which examined adding a pedestrian lane and bike path to the Hoan Bridge. The public hearing will take place on Monday, November 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the DOT downtown office building located at 1001 West St. Paul Avenue in Milwaukee.

It is incredibly important for everyone to turn out to this town hall meeting as DOT is looking to hear directly from our neighbors before choosing a final project proposal. We need to make sure that DOT and the Governor know that the public is in strong support of the project. Therefore, I urge you to join me in attending this meeting to voice your support for the bike lane and ask questions of DOT staff members. Media and elected officials are expected to attend. I hope to see you there.

For more information about the varying construction plans and cost estimates, please CLICK HERE to visit the DOT's Web site.

If you have questions, comments, or would like to voice your support the project but are unable to attend the public hearing, contact Carolynn Gellings from DOT at:
