Tar Sands Pipeline Pinhole Leads To 63,000-Gallon Spill
This is not good news:
Seems that the mega-pipeline envisioned from Canada to Texas - - and over the nation's largest aquifer - - comes with technology unable to spot so-called small leaks.
Like one that just left 63,000 gallons on the ground in Canada.
Wisconsin and Michigan have already suffered through spill and construction violations with the company that finally had to admit to the 63,000 gallon mess.
Do we really want the risk of undetected spills in a bigger pipeline running trans-nationally north-south in the US over multiple states' farmland, wetlands and groundwater?
