Wisconsin's COVID-19 policy stupidity may shrink Chicago visitors' spending here

The Vos-Fitzgerald-Roggensack Know-Nothing/Do Much Harm retreat from statewide COVID-19 policy sanity could rack up another fail:

WI Supreme Court Justice wrote the opinion sought by GOP legislative leaders which prevented the extension of Gov. Evers' Safer-at-Home COVID-19 prevention program.
Fewer visits to Wisconsin vacation destinations, restaurants, stores and other businesses which Chicagoland customers are said to frequent for lower sales taxes that are part of an overall lower cost of living in Wisconsin than in Chicago.

And will Chicago tourists or summer home and cabin owners thinking of heading for towns up north to fish, swim and kick back decide the trip isn't worth the added isolation which may be waiting when they get home.

Why: Because our spiking coronavirus numbers here where we still have no statewide masking order could land Wisconsin on Chicago's return-home quarantine list.

Chicago mayor says Wisconsin could be added to city's 14-day quarantine list if coronavirus worsens
Chicago issued an emergency travel order two weeks ago mirroring a policy adopted in several Northeastern states in late June. The order requires anyone traveling to or returning from the city from one of now 17 states to self-isolate for 14 days upon their arrival.

I think she likes to vacation up north without the Illinois crowds. Maybe she was hoping for this outcome.
