Walker folds Kenosha's cards as his house of fiscal cards collapses

The morning distraction about Scott Walker killing casino jobs in Kenosha to please anti-gambling voters in Iowa does not undo the afternoon news that Walker's fiscal house of cards is collapsing, reports the Journal Sentinel:
The state's projected budget shortfall is growing by $151 million this year but remaining about the same size over the next 2 1/2 years, according to estimates released Friday by the Legislature's budget office.
Just to keep existing state operations like education and health care running through June 2015, Gov. Scott Walker and lawmakers have to find $280 million in cuts or tax increases this year plus another $648 million over the following two year budget.
Wonder if the national media who keep focusing on Chris Christie and Kansan Sam Brownback's budget failures and woes will pay attention to the situation here?
