WisDOT Has Noxious Plan For Milwaukee's Story Hill Community

If this is what you'd like to see, hear and smell courtesy of a proposed elevated freeway to devalue your quality of daily city life, raise your hand.

This so-called solution to freeway congestion in the I-94 corridor would commit hundreds of millions of dollars (perhaps more, as the Zoo Interchange segment is ticketed at $1.7 billion) without one cent for transit improvements - - the same one-sided, road-builders' blank check formula used to expand the region's multi-billion-dollar freeway system.

Maybe we can ask Rep. Craig to add double-decker freeways to his "local control" bill.
