Will WI GOP Now Stop Its GAB-Bawling-And-Bashing? And Get Off Its Fake Foundations?

Now that the allegedly partisan (not) Government Accountability Board has certified and set for July 19 (as it always intended to do) all three recall elections against Democrats, will Republicans stop crying about fake bias and quit scheming their shamefully fake campaigns - - all designed to gum up the works and diminish the legitimacy of the GAB?

Fake histrionics about the GAB, fake recall candidates planned and plotted and planted by the party and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald), fake open budgeting (Albert Darling's giveaway to the road-builders and the Milwaukee Police Association), fake Fox News to guide and misinform and propagandize them, fake history and geography (Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann, et al), fake science (Palin, again, plus climate change denier Ron Johnson and his sunspots), and a fake grassroots support group, the Tea Party, pretending to be made up of the dispossessed but funded by and serving the billionaire Koch brothers - - can Republicans get real and honest and truly transparent about anything?

Hat tip for inspiration, MM.

To rdf,
You are so right. But don't wait for Doyle or any other politician to ride to the rescue - and I say that as one who consistently and pointlessly votes Democrat. This is the reason we are rallying. If we waited for the Dems to start anything...we would still be waiting for recall petitions to be circulated.

I see these young Democrats at the different party headquarters and they are so devoted to their Senators or candidates. I think to myself well, don't forget... Mark Miller didn't do anything to fix school finance when he was head of Joint Finance. And what ever happened to Erpenbach's idea for state wide healthcare? When Dems had both houses and Doyle was governor they did some nice things for their friends and threw the people a few bones (BadgerCare and 4K).

I can't even get too excited about Russ Feingold anymore. He formed a PAC and so what? He denounces Walker once in while and he did march on Monday but one gets the feeling that he is not going to be camping out on the square.

I will still vote for most of the Dems because the Republicans are so bad. Maybe what we really need is to recruit candidates from the labor movement. Maybe Shelly Moore will be a politician who will remember her roots - like Sondy Pope-Roberts.

Anyway, I'm still working on all the Recall campaigns because anything would be better than what is going on now - I think?
