Caught Rigging Recall Elections, Republicans Just Change The Subject

Wisconsin Republicans were caught with a plan to run fake opponents in recall elections - - a scheme so reprenhensible and politically-suicidal that conservative talk radio host Mark Belling attacked it and its authors Tuesday afternoon.

So the GOP just changes directions, ginning up yet another bit of fakery - - that the Government Accountability board with allegations of bias.

Republicans know the GAB is a non-partisan body run by a group of non-partisan retired judges.

But when you've screwed up, the playbook says go to Plan B, or Misdirection 101 and make a lot of noise elsewhere as a diversion.

It won't work, and only indicates the Republicans' descent down a politically and morally slippery slope.

Enjoy the ride: like the mess at the Capitol, it's all of your own making.

Just Curious

Was it also reprehensible when the democrats did the same thing against Bob Ziegelbauer last year or did I just miss that blog post?

You have to remember RD that Rowen has very selective memory.

And his undies are in a bundle now because Republicans are finally using his "progressive" tactics.
