Suit Filed To Block Highway 23 Expansion To Four-Lane Monstrosity
1000 Friends of Wisconsin has filed suit to block the expansion of the rural State Highway 23.
You'd think in our broke condition, Gov. Walker and the DOT would pull back such absolutely unjustified sops to the road-builders, and that it shouldn't take the energy and resources of non-profit public advocacy groups to force the state to follow the law and respect wetlands, farming and the rural landscape - - you'd think that and you'd be wrong these days.
So hat's off to 1000 Friends.
