Walker Protest Saturday Doubles Size Of Washburn, WI

Walker brings people to Washburn, says the Duluth New Tribune, but not just to a GOP fundraiser

"Bayfield County Sheriff Paul Susienka said Saturday evening that he didn’t have a crowd estimate, but various people had estimated the size at between 2,000 and 5,000. So the protest probably at least doubled the size of Washburn, which has a population of 2,271."

"5,000" was the figure reported to Ed Garvey as he drove to Madison yesterday. Jim Hightower was in the car with him, and reported that attendance estimate to the crowd at the Barrymore last night. I caught the live feed from The Uptake.

Jim, you'll want to check it out. I'd go so far as to say some history-making speeches were delivered at the event -- and more than a couple new leaders born.
