State Sen. Jim Sullivan Attacks "Weak-Kneed" Colleagues
State Sen. Jim Sullivan, (D-Wauwatosa) is right: too many state legislators are "weak-kneed" when it comes to serious reforms for Wisconsin's slap-on-the-wrist drunken driving laws.
I used the same phrase on this blog more than a year ago.
Which means that spinlessness in the face of the liquor lobby has been the order of the day in the Capitol for too long.

Tax, tax, tax, tax, tax... the money is peanuts compared to how much is wasted.
Spend what we already are forced to send to the state properly first!
A blood/alcohol level twice the legal limit while operating a motor vehicle should be greeted with 30 day mandatory dry-out. Drunkeness is an extrapolation the brewers need seriously look at. Please, no more commercials asking for personal responsability while promoting your product. Taxing the users? It should be incumbent on the brewers and considered an intrinsic cost. Can we discuuss this over a beer?
Is that 'spinless' or 'spineless?'
Am wondering how "strong-kneed" and vocal Sen. Sullivan is when it comes to calling for the ouster of his colleague and dependable Dem vote Jeff Woods (aka Mr. 5 Time OWI).
My guess is the crickets are chirping and old "double vote" Jim isn't even able to stand up.
