Hysteria On The Right, Ratings For Talk Radio, Fox 'News'

The anti-Obama, post-Obama election hysteria on the Right continues.

It had its roots in the disinformation about whether Obama was a Muslim, which morphed into whether he was a citizen, and has now landed on the weird conclusion that he is a Socialist.

Who wants to use a national address to school children as indoctrination while his legislative allies are working on national death panels, and God knows what else.

Much of this is fomented by business interested in making money, including Fox Cable, with goofy Glenn Beck joining the ranks of Hannity and O'Reilly, and national radio talkers like Limbaugh and Michael Savage.

Ginned-up paranoia and fear-mongering leads to rating points, and better ad rates and sales to advertisers.

The boycott against Beck has produced results, but the advertisers who have left his program are still with Fox.

Democrats have to back Obama, stick to core principles and confront rightist bigotry and propaganda.

I'm not sure if Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs' response to the school kids speech attacks as the "silly season" is tough enough.

I'd like to see stronger condemnations of the coordinated effort to demonize Obama.

That's not even close to true. While you fools tried to "boycott" Beck like you tried to "boycott" Whole Foods, Becks ratings went up higher than that SportsCenter jockey on MSNBC, and Beck is not even on Primetime! So good job with that FAIL.

Whatever happened to that truther guy that led Color of Change anyway?

And Just like that Jim, you have become a version of what you are condemning, UNELECTED officials that do nat make the decisions. Guess who has 60% of the senate and house? Oh, YOU DO!

So if you want to ram through your agenda on this nation, you know who you have to blame and it isn't the damn Republicans or Glenn beck, Hannity, or Limbaugh. Look in the mirror.

Robert Gibbs . . .

How could Obama pick such an old school pasty white male buffoonish doofus as him?

Gibbs is almost the perfect caricature of the blitheringly incompetent government bureacrat.

Who was there model in picking Gibby, the clod who represents IBM in the Mac commercials?
