Michelle Bachmann: Ignorant, Racist - - Or Both?
What do we make of a Presidential candidate - - and for that matter, the state of politics in America in general - - who agrees with the implication that black children had better lives during slavery?

Have you seen or heard Mrs. Bachmann's 2004 comments about homosexuality before the National Education Conference? I heard them last night on the CBC's "As It Happens" (carried locally on WHAD at 8 p.m.). I am trying to get a link to an excerpt or a transcript.
Among other things, Michelle Bachmann says in her 2004 lecture: "Almost all, if not all, individuals who have gone into the [gay and lesbian] lifestyle have been abused at one time in their life, either by a male or by a female. There has been profound hurt and profound things that have happened in almost all of their lives."
