Walker Phoniness Continuing On Jobs Front

You can see from Walker's smug Tweet that he will take credit for events and trends far from Wisconsin, or that are due to federal actions, and even those of former Gov. Jim Doyle:

Governor Walker
WI added 10,000 private sector jobs in Jan. Unemployment rate dropped to 7.4%. Good news. We are on right track.

Just don't forget to subtract the ones you lost, ended or willfully disdained.

And someone please check on the 10,000 new jobs claim--Walker doesn't have a working relationship with the truth.

Scotty conveniently left out the 3,600 jobs lost in state government in January, which are a direct result of thousands retiring because they didn't want to put up with this punk as guv. So the (seasonally adjusted) gain was only around 6,500 in January.

And it's why his threat of layoffs was total BS, because he could make a lot more savings by eliminating half of the jobs that people have left in the last 3 months. The halls of any state building have been packed with retirement party announcements for weeks. But magically, the Journal-Sentinel and his other water-carriers in the media never mentioned that.
