Dirty air alert for WI - for two days. Bring on cleaner, greener power!
Do you recall the published findings a few days ago that air pollution is responsible for about 1 in 5 deaths world wide?
With that in mind, and remembering both the pass former GOP AG Brad Schimel gave a major corporate air polluter and the political favor the previous 'President' did for Walker and Foxconn that eased air pollution standards in SE Wisconsin - please note that the WI DNR has issued an air pollution alert across Wisconsin for the next two days.
Cold air can trap smokestack and tailpipe pollutants close to the ground through a phenomenon called "temperature inversion."
Another reason to demand more renewably-powered electricity generation and cleaner-running vehicles as a matter of public health.
