John Norquist said...: The police union officials salaries are paid by Milwaukee Property taxpayers pursuant to a mandate incorporated in the 1995=97 state budget by then GOP Governor Tommy Thompson.Thompson is/was a close friend of Brad Debraska, then MPA president. Thompson's mandate undid a provision that revoked the taxpayer support of 2 of the 3 MPA officers salaries and benefits. Debraska had Thompson void the contract the MPA had agreed to thus forcing Milwaukee taxpayers to pay the union salaries.; April 2, 2012 at 10:59 PM
