Here's O'Meara's memo from last fall on our own very special castle doctrine (PDF).
I gather from the professor's writing that Wisconsin does not have a stand-your-ground law. That's what I thought as well, yet MSNBC reports (see map on Lawrence O'Donnell show site) that Wisconsin does have a stand-your-ground law, and so does the Progressive magazine.
I hope that this is confusion with the castle-doctrine law in Wisconsin, which is worrisome enough.
