Further Indication That GTAC Mining Is Giving Up On the Penokee Hills Mine

GTAC, the company that would have immediately benefited from a failed bill to ease mining permitting procedures in Wisconsin, has formally notified the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on Friday that it was abandoning an exploration license, records show.

Frankly, I'm not sure how that squares with Tim Carpenter's 'a-deal-is-still-possible' statement Sunday.
