Green Parking - - For High School Students?

You know I'm an environmentalist, and heck, we own a Civic Hybrid, but if this Brookfield high school can give parking preference to students who drive hybrid cars to school, my first question is: why don't those kids walk or take the the school bus?

Electric cars just aren't the "green" solution they are cracked up to be. Yes, they are an improvement over a regular car, but walking or biking to school would be much much better.

My first thought was *high school students* are driving to school? What's up with that? Second thought was to wonder what the bicycle parking is like. Assuming there is any.

Each teacher say that the environment needs us, and we need to do the needful. We need to know what we can do, so here I have listed the most useful laws and treaties which I have seen across the web in favor of the environment. These things I believe need to be taught in schools to help students in realizing these details at a tender age.
