Further Newspaper Consolidation In Madison
Staff cuts at both the Capital Times (now exclusively online) and the State Journal, along with some merged reporting, puts the capital city closer to a one-newspaper situation.

Not an ideal circumstance for a state capital or any city, for that matter.

There is a reason why newspapers are referred to as the "dead tree media" after all.
They are dying & will go away provided there isn't yet another irresponsible government bail-out.
Considering the quality of the content they have been putting out, good riddance says I.
