Well, it took but a single day of bad headlines and jibes to return Scott Fitzgerald to his senses and respect for democracy- - and to lessen the chance that national media would pounce on him for an explanation tomorrow when he is off to the big city to collect "attaboy" donations from big contributors.

Denying the duly elected senators their votes was illegal anyway. Playing around with paychecks, parking spots and fines also dubiously legal. Surprising our Trickster-in-Chief didn't unscrew the lightbulbs in the Dems offices and short-sheet their beds.
