How Walker's Bill Interferes In Unions' Internal Affairs

The union-busting bill pushed through the Legislature at Scott Walker's behest (Big Business says, "Attaboy") contains multiple restrictions on unions and collective bargaining - - but none more punitive thnt this:

To represent members, each public employee union will have to reconstitute itself every year in an election with a winning margin of 51% of union members eligible to vote - - not 51% of the union member who show up and vote.

Very few elected officials - - Scott Walker included - - would have been elected if they had to poll 51% of all eligible voters.

The bill uses state power and law to stack the deck against the unions. Talk about Big Government ...How can this be legal?

Part of what I call The Plan to reduce union power, progressive policy and Democratic turnout in Wisconsin.
