Trump just couldn't let it go. He is a fool.
Using the State of the Union address to ridicule and trash investigations earned by Trump, his family and inner circle - - whether by Mueller or DOJ attorneys or House committees each and all duly empowered to investigate - - was a huge mistake.
Ignorant and arrogant on his part, to be sure, but not surprising, because Trump is Trump and can't grasp that fundamental to the state of the union is that the President is not above the laws and separation of powers which keep the union centered and credible.
Trump still doesn't get that
