Good news, Bucky; Judge bounces WI PSC's costly solar hookup fee

I'm sure We Energies will appeal and the big-business obedient State Supreme Court may reinstate it, but you gotta salute sanity when you see it these days in Havocwreakistan.

Case in point: a Dane County judge knocked out the confiscatory solar hookup fee that the Public Service [Sic] Commission had awarded the company.

Some additional background, here.

This is great news however, I am sure it will be appealed to the Koch funded WI Supreme Court where the PSC decision will be upheld.

This is great news, but we'll have to see. There hasn't been much to celebrate here in Wisconsin lately, so enjoy while we can.

Fir me, think I'll jump on a train to Chicago and hope the rails don't split, that those 100-plus-year-old bridges don't fall down, and that an oil train won't come along and EXPLODE, BOOOOOOOOOOM!

Yes, anon 11:16, Amtrak's Milwaukee-Chicago corridor is a death trap. We need fewer passenger trains, more cars, fewer oil trains, more pipelines, and less tree-hugging energy and more coal-fired power plants.

In my opinion, we'd all be better of burning coal at home for heat too. I'd like to see much more fracking and that was includes fracking throughout Wisconsin. We have the silica deposits, who knows how much oil and gas we'd find here if we stopped shipping fracking sand out-of-state and just forcibly injected it all with millions of gallons of water at super-high pressures with secret chemicals here.

I stand steadily with Scott Walker even if all the hyper-fracking caused some tremors and earthquakes.
