More On Walker's Amtrak FUBAR

He and an ideologically-constipated legislature broke a contract with train maker Talgo, so engines and cars built for the Chicago-Milwaukee-Madison record-setting run sit idle, generating only litigation:

Milwaukee to Chicago commuters who spend nearly $400 a month to ride the old trains are outraged.
"If we've got these trains stored in mothballs, why don't we use them?" said Lloyd Davis.
The Milwaukee to Chicago corridor moves more than 800,000 passengers a year, sometimes with standing room only.
Though it's perfectly OK for Walker and the legislature to get out the credit card for more highways.
