One Point For Wisconsin State Sen. Neal Kedzie
He knows how to avoid a court battle. Unlike the cringe-worthy State Rep. Jeff Stone, and his colleagues.

I don't give any credit to Kedzie for doing the right thing. The tribes know that their inclusion is for show only, as Kedzie has already said publicly that legislation coming out of his committee will ease the mining permitting process. Which directly translates to removing existing environmental protections and quashing public input.
Wisconsin HAS existing mining laws that permit mining. Goegebic just doesn't want to meet the requirements.
Any lifting or lessening of current protections will be met with a lawsuit, or several.
