Possible GOP Amendments To Walker Union-Busting Bill Might Add To The Pain

There's talk that Republican state senators want to amend Scott Walker's bill attacking public employees' rights and incomes, with some onerous provisions sun-setting, but there is also talk of adding police and firefighters currently exempted by Walker to the mix of employees statewide losing their collective bargaining rights, but also raising some newly-mandated pension and health care plan payments by state employees - - again, without negotiations.

So if you think the GOP legislators are bending to public pressure, think again. First and foremost, these people are foot soldiers in a party that demands loyalty to the boss first.
