Bush Cuts, So GOP Can Run
The White House looks to cut US troops in Iraq during '08 by 50%.
Anyone think there's no connection to the Presidential campaign?
Anyone think this is sending Al Qaeda our plans?
Anyone think any GOP candidate will accuse Bush of cutting and running, or cutting so they can run?

Of course, I do. But Bush has been bashing any withdrawal plan, so I think this is election-year PR and nothing more.
Maybe, but there were many who said Bush had Bin Ladin in a secret prison that he was going to reveal as an October surprise in 2004.
It's obvious that you don't support the war in Iraq. However, having been through the Vietnam anti-war movement do you sometimes find opposing Iraq more of a challenge since there is no draft and the casualties are much fewer? The enemy in Iraq is also a little more nasty. I don't recall NVA blowing themselves up in villages.
Neither war was justifable. Both were begun through deception and cultural arrogance.
