New UN Global Warming Report Says Goals Are Affordable

The latest UN recommendations for moderating harmful changes to the world's climate indicate that preliminary goals are affordable with planning and use of technology.

While the US representative continues to fret, the report is closer to the American position and thus harder for the Bush administration to oppose.

By embracing this report, George Bush could turn his failing presidency, international standing and probable legacy around 180 degrees and do something more constructive for the planet than "shock and awe" did to the landscape on the Middle East.
