And it was 113 degrees in LA yesterday, the all-time recorded high temperature.

Mom called from San Diego, moved out there years ago cause of Wis. winters and the hot, sticky summers--"but out here it's a dry heat". Now she would like to move back because the fear of fire and an energy black out due to this heat.
