Wisc. PSC Likes Fossil Fuel Industries; Wind - - Not So Much

Or...Some citizens' input is OK, some isn't.

The Public Service Commission kills jobs and kisses up to the fossil fuels' industry by blocking a wind farm - - stopping piecemeal what Scott Walker had tried but failed to do statewide through rule-making meddling on behalf of the coal/gas/fuel oil providers when he came into office.

To hear the PSC tell it, nearby residents objected.

Rural voters shall be served.

But the same agency green lights a long overhead, visually-polluting transmission line through Wauwatosa and above Underwood Creek Parkway to which residents, schools, churches and the cities of Wauwatosa and Milwaukee had objected - - another favor to big utilities and the fossil fuel suppliers.

Hey - - stick it to those urban voters.

Public Service Commission?

How about instead the Private Service Commission?

I wonder how Leah Vukmir feels about this obvious hit on her Tosa constituents by the Walker controlled PSC They voted her and Walker in - now they pay the consequences. Lets see if Leah really knows how to represent rather than being a conduit for ALEC.

Public Service Commission? Give me a break.
