Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett Rebukes Belling For Asserting "Jewish" Hotel Opposition

Michael Horne interviews Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and others about AM-1130 WISN talker Mark Belling's assertion that there is Jewish opposition to the proposed Marriott Hotel plan for downtown Miwaukee.

Said Barrett:

"“I am totally in support of the Marriott,” Barrett tells NewsBuzz, adding that Belling was “way off-base with his offensive comments. I was offended. There is no reason to bring someone’s religion into this debate and I think he owes an apology."

Kudos to Barrett and to Horne, whose writing appears today on the new daily news blog created by Milwaukee Magazine.
