Legislative Leader's Concealed Weapon Is The "Baby Glock"

That's the how the company describes the gun that Speaker Pro Tem Bill Kramer, (R-Waukesha), told The Journal Sentinel he conceals on the Assembly floor.

Other websites refer to it as a "pocket rocket."

Funny... I always thought Pocket Rocket referred to something else.

@ Anonymous 9:52 pm: I think in this case (Kramer), it's meant to take the place of the something else you thought it was referring to.

the 26 is a nice reliable personal defense weapon. I would recommend anyone interested in carrying this to try handling it first at a local gun store. You could also sign up for a class and get your CCW license if you wish.

The only downside (imo) is that it is a 9mm. A subcompact .45 would have more stopping power if it is ever needed.

Pocket Rocket used to refer to Henri Richard, an all-pro center and hockey hall of fame player who played for the Montreal Canadiens. He was younger brother of Canadiens Maurice "Rocket" Richard. Guess that dates me.

Much ado about nothing. Presumably this legislator didn't do anything illegal?
