Next Wednesday Is Special Citizen Lobbying Day On Mining, Environmental Issues

Important information from the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters:

We Need YOU at *Special* Conservation Lobby Day on Mining on October 19th

With only two weeks left in the session we still haven't heard exactly what is being proposed in the two environmental rollback bills buried within Governor Walker's "Special Jobs Session". What we do know isn't good. The two proposals will likely initiate major rollbacks to Wisconsin's natural resource protections making it easier for ANY industry to dump waste into Wisconsin's exceptional waterways, fill in wetlands, and contaminate drinking water.
The Time is Now!
We need you at this lobby day to tell our legislators to oppose any rollbacks to protections for natural resources and public health.
