Wisconsin Motorcycle Driver Deaths In 2010 Now 30% Greater Than in 2009

As I have been noting on my blog this summer, there is a nasty trend developing for motorcycle drivers on state roads this year: 79 deaths so far in 2010, compared to 61 through the same period in 2009, according to Wisconsin Department of Transportation data.

This fatality on Friday - - making the year total so far at least 80 - - would not yet be in the WisDOT figures for 2010.
