As election looms, WI Sup. Ct. plays one rightist card, holds another

As if the pandemic hadn't created enough problems for sane governance and fair and safe voting in the all-important Nov. 3rd Presidential election, the GOP-and special-interest-friendly 'non-partisan' Wisconsin Supreme Court - 

Right-wing WI Supreme Court Chief Justice Patience Roggensack wrote the earlier 4-3 majority opinion shelving the state's Safer-at-Home order - while the Court safely met online.

- just gave the absentee-ballot process favored by Democrats and liberals a big monkey-wrench twist to the right - 

Wisconsin absentee ballot mailings on hold as Supreme Court weighs lawsuit

- and can still throw a dagger into 129,000 registered voters.
