The Sikh Temple Shootings Overwhelm Other Wisconsin Discussions
After the shootings at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, I've got no appetite for election-year political talk, the Olympics and other summertime distractions, even for the policy issues I care about.
We need information and answers from the authorities as we hold our breath for the recovery of the victims of this unspeakable crime, and at the right time, we need a discussion about the killer and his success in destroying people who live peacefully and productively in our community.

You need to call out every single politician who voted last year to weaken Wisconsin's gun control laws.

I was waiting for a fool like yourself to comment on this tragedy and try to politicize it for the purposes of gun control. There was no politician responsible for this.
The killer used a pistol. So unless you are going to try and ban all guns in the same way we try to ban illegal drugs,(because that really works, hey Einstein.) it is not going to happen or work.
Instead, we should pray for the victims, families and their friends in this tragedy and do everything we can as a community to help them through these difficult times.
The real problem here is hate groups and there are many hate groups out there that we are too timid to recognize as such because they consist of minority groups who have a deep hatred for America. It is way too acceptable to hate white American males.

What about for the purposes of gun regulation? You know, like it says in the Second Amendment?
We will need to have security at every public event if this senseless killing is to stop. Going to church or a movie will never be the same. My freedom to worship or to watch a movie has been severely restricted. The price we pay for unrestricted gun dealing and ammunition purchases is to great.

Nowhere in the 2nd does it talk about "gun regulation."
I think were you are confused is that the 2nd does talk about a "well regulated militia," but that is certainly not gun regulation.
As proven in the later part of the amendment, where it is written by the founding fathers that the "right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Projection. It's always projection. And the implication that I haven't read it is condescending and insulting.

Hard to argue against something like that when it smacks you right in the forehead.
