Charlie Sykes, again, is today making the claim on his AM 620 WTMJ radio program that the left, as he puts it, should be concerned because JoAnne Kloppenburg didn't win in a blowout.

This is like criticizing a first-time boxer for only winning a championship prize fight by a decision in the 15th round.

She won! In her first race. Against a supposed-shoo-in incumbent, a campaign veteran with a long history of partisan connections. Her win is the biggest state political story in decades.
