Feingold, Barrett Finishing Strong

Tom Barrett stuffed Scott Walker in the final debate Friday night.

Russ Feingold is scooping up newspaper endorsements.

And both benefited from huge get-out-the-vote canvasses this weekend, not to mention the long lines of early voters at Milwaukee City in these campaigns' closing days.

Ron Johnson has all but disappeared, Scott Walker is fending off more disclosures about his phony budgets and crumbling buildings - - and there's Walker's running mate, Rebecca Kleefisch a/ka/ The Running Joke.

A big push Tuesday and we can elect Feingold and Barrett.

Fortunately our elections are not decided by antiquated and irrelevant dead-tree media endorsements.

Am glad the endorsements warm your cockles - but they are meaningless.

Especially in a year when by the time the endorsements were made, there were an insignificant number of undecided voters left to be possibly swayed.

Another deflection by James Rowen instead of actually addressing the issues raised in the linked WSJ article.

Guess losing by only 5 points would be in hindsight considered to be a strong finish, instead of the anticipated double digit losses.
