Bringing Overhead Traffic To Street-Level Would Help New Orleans Recovery

Former Milwaukee Mayor John Norquist through the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU) is helping make the case that routing traffic through a downtown instead of overhead on an elevated freeway is a lot better for New Orleans' business and commerce recovery.

Never mind the traffic jams, the excess pollution and fuel consumption, and the wasted time.

Traffic in NOLA is bad enough .... even on the freeways.

Dumb idea.
