Waukesha Continues Institutional Disdain For Transit

Another Waukesha story - - no light rail. No regional transit authority. No Amtrak stop. No direct transit from downtown Waukesha to downtown Milwaukee. No direct service from New Berlin's Industrial park for Milwaukee or regional workers to downtown, the South side, the North side, etc.

No connection from Pabst Farms to anywhere. And now no takers for employer vans, now in storage.

You have to wonder how vigorously these vans have been marketed to employers.

They simply won't give a damn until gas prices hit $6.00 a gallon.

So let them drink radioactive water.

You would think Obama would have found something else to waste taxpayer's money on. Like Solyndra!

Stay on topic Ron.

Ron R. should stay in topic. But where is the admonishment for Anonymous (by another Anonymous perhapts)?
I realize the difference between the City of Waukesha and the County of Waukesha can get confusing but - to say,- "So let them drink radioactive water." - please.
If we could be left to drink our water I thing many would.
If a vote from the City of Waukesha could override the EPA and raise the radium standard to the Canadian or European levels I think we would. But I'm sugesting a hypathitical City vote concerning City water not a City vote concerning County vans or County actions on any transportation issue changing anything that the City Water Utility has to deal with.

Paul is right. I shouldn't have posted that comment, as I have knocked out that very phrase more than once.
