Offering links to census data, 2019 WI GOP Assembly diversity
Today's example of diversity, GOP-style, in the year 2019 is...a red blazer... standing out in what appears to be all-white, nearly all-male group photo atop the Wisconsin Assembly GOP's Twitter page.
For the record, census data show Wisconsin is 87.3 white and 50.3 female, so draw your own conclusions. #gerrymanderingispredominatelyawhitemalething.
Here's who's front-and-center.

However did those devious Republicans manage to gerrymander women out of their districts?
That's not what I said. The gerrymander solidified GOP control of districts where while males continually sit atop the ballot.
Blaska brings up an interesting point. Has anyone looked at gender ratios in gerrymandered districts? If their software looked at all demographics, why wouldn't they gerrymander based on gender? There are slightly more women than men and a slight majority of women are democrats so did they gerrymander based on age, race, voting record AND gender as well as other things? And if they did, could women sue based on gender bias?
Could be, @Katrina. Too bad Vos is escaping answeringquestions under oath about the process.
