When a bulldozer falls into a WI sand mine pond...

The good news is that the operator was rescued.

The bad news is that the pond in Whitehall, Wisconsin, was breached and something yellow has leaked into the Trempealeau River, shown here without contamination.

News, and video, here.
Reports are coming in from citizens that the retention pond was breached as part of the rescue attempt, and the contaminated water from the pond has flowed through neighboring fields, into a stream, and from there to the Trempeleau River.
