GOP donor-boosted Northwoods bridge project underway
You may remember the efforts by a major Walker and GOP donor to acquire state-owned river frontage up north.
The DNR and Natural Resources Board more recently approved a paved trail, and new bridge a couple of hundred yards from an existing bridge over the Manitowish River
also backed by the donor, Elizabeth Uihlein.
As with state agencies ready compliance with the land-swapping, permit-granting wishes of another key Walker donor for a separate golf course project, ask yourself whether everyday Wisconsin citizens routinely get this kind of service from those charged with overseeing public land and waters.
