Unrepentant Killer Of Milwaukee Teen Put Guns Above Life

Even though the 13-year John Spooner murdered on Milwaukee's South side did not have the guns Spooner thought he'd stolen, Spooner's callous worship of guns couldn't get clearer:

Taking the stand in his insanity trial, John Henry Spooner told a stunned courtroom: "I wouldn't call it revenge; I would call it justice...."
"I wanted those shotguns back. They were a big part of my life," Spooner said after his trial resumed Thursday afternoon....
In cross-examination, Assistant District Attorney Mark Williams asked if he felt bad for shooting [Darius] Simmons.
"Not that bad," Spooner replied.
He said he would have shot Simmons' brother, too, but his gun jammed.

Well, if anyone should never get his guns back, it's this guy.
