Walker and Brett Davis Were Best Buds On Campaign Trail

Blogger Jed Lounsbury documents the political friendship between then-2010 gubernatorial candidate Scott Walker and then-Lt. Gov. candidate Brett Davis, whose fundraising was being handled via the secret email system set up by a former-and-now-criminally-charged Walker staffer just outside Walker's County Executive Office, according to John Doe prosecutors.

Davis' campaign was managed by Cullen Werwie, now Walker's press secretary. And Walker appointed Davis state Medicaid director.

Why are those guys still in their state jobs? And why won't Walker be interviewed about his county-paid staff's political work, or his gubernatorial appointees' credibility?
