One Governor Says "No" To Following Scott Walker's Lead
The Massachusetts' Governor says "No" to a state house bill removing workers' rights to bargain on health care coverages, and "Yes" to amending it.
Through negotiations. How UnWalker-like.
"This is not Wisconsin,” [Deval] Patrick said. “That’s not what the House did. That’s not… I’m not going to sign a Wisconsin-type bill in the end. We’re going to have a meaningful role for labor, and we’re going to deliver on the savings for municipalities.”

Interesting perspective you have here. The word "apologist" springs to mind...
and yes, by all means what needs to happen now is that Unions and the newly regenerated Labor movement needs to "dial down the rhetoric".

Cuz, you know, this Governor (who recently partied with y'all) is actually saying a LOT more than just "no", the "no" part should not be selected out in the misleading way that you have done. I can tell you were a journalist. You know how to pick and choose and screw with heads. Nice skill.
You can "choose to not allow" this comment if you find it "personal", but what you are doing here with your manipulations, is central to your blog's commitment to "the truth" and "progressive ideals" which I believe is what you claim. So...yeah

Frankly, I do not understand this comment. I've been off-line for a few hours, and posted it the minute I saw it.
I think you have taken this tack before: you see a delay in the comment posting and read something into it, when it's nothing more than my having other things to do, people to see, etc.
I do not have open comments. I used to, but then found threatening and homophobic comments sitting on my blog for hours, and I couldn't have that.
As far as your comment about journalism: it's a free country and you are entitled to your opinion,and I'm fine with posting it - - but you haven't a clue about journalism.
