AM 620 WTMJ Talker Suggests In-Store Mischief To Combat Union Tactics

Conservative talker James T. Harris, the weekend afternoon WTMJ radio talker had a suggestion about 2:55 p.m. Saturday for shoppers who objected to seeing pro-union signs some businesses are putting in their windows that take the union side in the collective bargaining uproar in Madison:

Fill up a cart, take it to the checkout counter, then spot the sign and tell the clerk you changed your mind about shopping there because of the sign, and walk out.

After laughing loudly, Harris amended his proposal to telling the clerk to tell the owner to put the items away, sparing the clerk the task.

You wonder how business owners who advertise on WTMJ will like that bit of advice.

Plenty of businesses out there put up political signs and Jesus emblems. Shall the same tactics be used against them? Again, thanks to the right wing for yet another way to act petty and mean in the name of civil discourse. I think this is the 10,356th in their series.
